

Vision-Aid Charitable Services Society is a registered charitable society based in Visakhapatnam (Vizag) India. The society
manages and operates the first wholly dedicated Low Vision Rehabilitation Center in Vizag and provides world class Vision
Enhancement and Rehabilitation Services on a non profitable and charitable basis to the visually impaired in Vizag and all the
surrounding (mostly rural) regions. Please take time to learn about this center, the services that are provided in the center,

VisionAid Charitable Services Society is registered under the Societies Registration Act of India and is approved under
section 12A of the Indian Income Tax Code . Donations to this organization are eligible for tax exempt deductions under
Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Code.

Vision-Aid
A 501(c)(3) Non Profit Organization serving the visually disadvantaged in Under-Served Areas
Mr. B. Krishnakumar, BCom, serves as the part-time manager looking after the day
to day operations of the center. He has over 10 years of accounting and tax
management experience prior to joining the VisionAid Center.
Mr.S.Ramnarayan B.Sc., D.Opt (Dip Optometry from Sarojini Institute and Fellowship
in Low Vision from LVPEI. He is the lead Optometrist for the Vision Aid Center. He
oversees the functioning of the Vision Enhancement Center and performs Low Vision
Evaluations and prescribes appropriate optical devices to patients with Low Vision. In
addition to time spent at Vision Aid , Mr. Ramnarayan works as a consultant at Rotary's
eye care facility in Visakhapatnam.
Ms. B.T.Revathy, BSc, MCA, currently serves as the IT specialist in vision aid Vizag.
She is presently Lecturer in Mrs. A. V. N. College, Vizag . She brings her experience
as an IT trainer to help operate the VisionAid Introduction to Information Technology
Program at the VisionAid Center. Ms. Revathi helps to provide individualized custom
made training to Blind and Visually impaired persons at the Vision Aid Center with the
help of Assistive Technology software.
Ms. V.Krishnaveni Privately studied Ophthalmic Assistance Course and has work
experience of 2 years wiith Rotary's Eye Hospital. She works as general ophthalmic
assistant at Vision-Aid
